Big Sister, Little Sister
Foursome is divided into two teams of low and high handicap. Each team provides one best ball for the tournament.
Blind Nine
When you finish, Tournament Chair will advise you which nine holes count for the day's tournament.
Chicago
Chip-Ins
The player with the most Chip-Ins at the end of the year will have her name engraved on the Cecil Davis Perpetual Chip-In Trophy. Ties will be broken by a play-off.
Foursome Eclectic
This is a two-week tournament. The first week, the foursome will provide two best balls on each hole. The second week, the foursome can improve their scores on each hole.
Ham and Turkey Tournaments
Low net wins a gift certificate for a ham or turkey.
Hopscotch
Partners hit every other shot from the first tee through the 18th hole.
Jacks are Wild
Each player in foursome decides what suit they will be before starting. First group out pulls two cards after playing each hole. These two cards are the two best balls to be used on that hole. The cards are left on the next tee box for the remaining groups to see. Last group picks up all the cards. If two cards of the same suit are pulled, you use that player's score twice. Jacks are wild and can be used as any suit.
Low Putts
Each month, the Low Putts winner will be kept track of by the tournament chairperson. At the end of the year, the player who has won the most times will have her name engraved on the Perpetual Putting Trophy, donated by past Captain Willena Wigge.
Medal/Charm
Each month, the Low Net winner is presented with a charm to wear until the next Medal/Charm Tournament. The player to win the charm the most times during the year will be presented with the charm for keeps.
Point Par
Players use full handicap. Points are earned by shooting:
· Net par for 3 points
· Net bird for 4 points
· Net eagle for 5 points
· Net double eagle for 6 points
Red-White-Blue
Highest handicappers tee off at the red tees, mid handicappers tee off at the white markers, and low handicappers tee off at the blue markers.
Sweetheart TournamentT and F
Scores on holes that begin with the letters "T" or "F" are the only ones that count in this tournament.
The Dreaded Witch's Ball
The orange ball is rotated through the foursome and the score made by the player with the orange ball must be used for the team score for that hole.
Two Player Scramble
Both players play own shots, continue to select best ball of 2 including putts until ball is holed out. One score for twosome.
1-2-3
One best ball on first hole, two best balls on second hole, three best balls on the third hole, repeated through all 18 holes.
6-6-6
One best ball on the first six holes, two best balls on the next six holes, and three best balls on the final six holes.
9 Hole Partners - 9 Hole Team
For the first 9 holes the foursome is divided into two sets of two. A best ball must be presented by each set for a total of 2 best balls from the foursome. For the back nine, two best balls are needed from the foursome.
